Six-word stories by Martin Hawes

Six-word stories are a form of micro-fiction or poetry. I began experimenting with the form several years ago. Since the internet is a predominantly visual medium, I decided to pair my 'stories' with visual art. Where the visual material is not my own, I've either purchased it (typically from Shutterstock) or used Creative Commons images with attribution wherever possible.

Some of the stories are humorous, some serious, some light-hearted, some weird, some sad. A bit like life.
